How do you grade your devices?

Cosmetic Grading

Cosmetic inspection is both visual and automated. Visual inspection is performed at arm’s length, approximately 18" from the device. The inspection is performed straight on and without having to rotate the unit. Each surface is scanned once, for approx. 4-6 seconds, without dwelling on any single surface. Assurant's VISION TUNNEL™ technology captures images of the device, identifying any cracks on the screen.

Functional Grading

Devices that are fully functional will be identified by a ‘+’ sign in addition to their letter grading.
