Signs of Tampering

Do you think your shipment may have been tampered with? Buyers who have experienced theft have reported the following signs: 

• Boxes having been opened, especially on the bottom, and being resealed with clear tape.  Assurant does NOT use clear tape to seal packages.
• Labels being taped-over.

Here are some example images of boxes that have been resealed with clear tape:

The label is the LAST item Assurant places on a carton before shipping.  Labels should NEVER have any tape on top of them.

If you notice these or any other signs of tampering bring it to the attention of your carrier immediately!  It is critical to inspect packages and report signs of damage or tampering as soon as possible.
