What can YOU DO to protect your investment?
- Thoroughly inspect packages upon arrival!!! Click here for more details on what to look for.
- Note any damage or other signs of tampering on the shipper’s release documents.
- Insure your shipments. Contact your Carrier for more information on your insurance options.

What can Assurant do to help:
- Complete an internal review of Scan Records.
- Provide data to support your UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other Carrier Claim.
Assurant ships Freight On Board. We take the utmost care in preparing your shipment, but once a shipment has left our facility, the liability transfers to the Shipper. We cannot offer compensation for items that are lost, damaged or tampered with in transit.
If you are concerned with items being damaged or lost in transit, we recommend insuring your product to best care for your investment.
